Product Description

Peach wood has been used for protection carvings for centuries and is still the material people ask for by name. This plaque is cut from a solid piece about 30cm across and 3cm thick, with the eight trigrams carved in relief around a raised yin yang centre and the outer rim left clean and slightly chamfered. The surface is hand polished and finished with natural wax rather than lacquer, so the grain and the warmth of the wood stay visible and the carving reads clearly from a distance. A hanging point is set into the back for wall or door mounting.

Product Advantage

Planks are seasoned before carving so the disc is less likely to move with changes in humidity, and the relief is cut by hand rather than pressed. Each piece is waxed and inspected for cracks around the rim, then foam packed.

Product Application

• Doorway and entrance protection
• Living room and hallway wall decor
• Shop and office entrance
• Gift for housewarmings and new premises
• Taoist craft and home decor retail

A strong gift and decor item for retailers in the Feng Shui category, and one of the most recognisable protective symbols for customers who already buy peach wood swords or gourd charms.
